FearTools is an app aimed to provide tools to those experiencing anxiety. The home screen is a toolbox containing six sections: Information, Test, Videos, Thought Diary, Exposure, and Breathe. Under ‘Information’, users can read information about anxiety, types, and treatments. ‘Test’ prompts the user to complete 7 questions related to anxiety symptoms, an overview of past results and an optional reminder for regular completion. The ‘Videos’ section provides youtube links for guided meditations (7-30 minutes), soothing sounds (2-11 hours), and TED Talks related to anxiety. ‘Thought Diary’ guides the user through though challenging exercises and ‘Exposure’ guides the user through exposure exercises. The final section, ‘Breathe’ is a visual breathing tool with personalizing features.
