iCBT is an Apple™ app designed to help users cope with depression and anxiety. Users can enter the details of specific events which elicited anxiety, anger, dread, or other feelings. Users rate their feelings during the event and describe their negative thoughts. The app then guides users to reframe their thoughts by appraising the event. Users then rate their feelings again. iCBT aims to guided users through steps that may be useful for challenging and reframing the problematic thinking that can lead to stress and mental illness.
