Mindfit is an app for all mobile devices designed to address common symptoms of depression and anxiety. Specifically, the app aims to help users overcome low motivation or indecision and instead stay committed to more productive goals. Based on principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfit guides users through exercises that clarify the negative thought patterns that can exacerbate or prolong mental health issues. A number of practical coping skills to potentially increase motivation are also included. Additionally, the app includes a function to allow users to track their energy level and self-esteem over time. Mindfit may be a particularly good fit for users who struggle primarily with chronic pessimism, fatigue, or indecision as part of an anxiety disorder or depression.
