Moodpath aims to support users to track, monitor and communicate their depressive symptoms to a care provider. The app prompts the user to answer questions each day for two weeks regarding their symptoms. At the end of two weeks, a summary is created for the user’s to share with a health provider. After this two-week period, the user can choose to start a new assessment period at no cost or choose to discontinue use. In the app there are four main sections: Moodpath, Knowledge, Statistics, Profile. ‘Moodpath’ shows the user how far along they are in their 2 weeks of symptom tracking. ‘Knowledge’ provides information regarding detection, explanation, and treatment of depression. ‘Statistics’ allows the user to view an overview of symptoms and mood development over the previous 3 days. ‘Profile’ includes hotline resources throughout and referral letters once symptom tracking is complete.
