ReachOut Breathe is an app created to help users learn controlled breathing to address anxiety, panic, or stress. Essentially a guided relaxation tool, ReachOut Breathe provides users with a visual aid to guide users during their breathing. Users can customize important features, such as such as breathing intervals or duration, to match their current abilities and tune these features as they become more proficient at deep breathing. ReachOut Breathe also measures users’ heart rate with via a smartphone’s camera. By tracking heart rate before and after a round of deep breathing, as well as between sessions, users can see the effects of their practice. ReachOut Breathe is also optimized for use with the Apple Watch.
