iCBT is an Apple™ app that allows users to learn and practice skills for better coping with a variety of mental illnesses, including depression and anxiety. It guides users through simple steps that can be useful for challenging and reframing the problematic thinking that can lead to stress and mental illness. Based on the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, iCBT is intended for all kinds of users, not only those who have been diagnosed with a mental illness. It may be particularly useful for individuals who do not have accessible or affordable mental health treatment in their community.
